| - I notice the characters slide like crazy on this stage. - There seems to be colorloss !!! Quite a lot IMO. - I don't understand why you say the snow has been converted to HD, since the SFF shows it's still a 640*480 sprite, which means only HR. | |

| You write bullshits Sekhen, the 640*480 anim is HD because the 640*480 layers are quad displayed. | |

| Me.
It's a native HR char, not a filtered char. It have been done by Vyn based on some anonymous sprites (NicoUploader).

| You may also want to say that Shwa (also named "The Return of the Revenge of Darth Joestar Strikes Back" at some places) is the one who put all Rock sprites from the NicoUploader to the SFF, aligning them and fixing Vyn's code. His work is of course not much compared to the spriter and Vyn, but the char wouldn't be there without him. - Quote :

Displaying an HR sprite 4 times doesn't make it HD, as far as I know, but I understand what you mean.

| Concerning HR2_Rock :
1/ This is an SNK-Playmore licence, not a licence from the guy who rip it 2/ This is an HR2 conversion to the BrokenMUGEN HD proprietary format 3/ Vyn will be fully credited for his works on the HR version 4/ This is a private release and we do what we want in private.
Concerning the snow anim, we keep the HD pixel granularity :
This is not 640*2 by 480*2 but
640+640 by 480+480= HD 960 res without upscaling.
edit : It's like a 1280*960 image splitted in 4 identicals 640*480 images, if you prefer...

| 1 & 2 : whatever. 3 : You should credit him for the LR version, credit the anonymous Japanese NicoUploader guy for the work on HR sprites, and Shwa for making the SFF and the code modification to make the new SFF compatible to the old code. 4 : I never said the contrary.
Well, as said, I understand what you mean, and it perfectly does what it's meant to do, but it doesn't change the fact that the sprite itself isn't HD. But yeah, you're displaying it at the native resolution, using tiling to display it several times.

Good idea. It will be done. Vyn's website will be linked too.
